I'm Anton, a freelance filmmaker and photographer based in Reykjavík, Iceland. Having lived in Innsbruck, Austria, for many years, I've spent a lot of time moving through high-alpine terrain in all kinds of weather, at all times of day and throughout the seasons.

Working outdoors brings a whole different set of challenges. It’s far from a controlled studio setting when the right moment comes, you need to be ready to capture it. Combining years of experience in the mountains with my work behind the camera allows me to focus on the creative side, even when the conditions are working against me.

That's an approach I try to live by. Focussing on and conveying the emotions is what makes an image connect with the audience. Whether that is an attention grabbing highlight reel or a more story driven documentary.

Coming from a background in post-production, helps me make better decisions in the fiel and approach every shoot with the final edit in mind.

I've been fortunate to work with outdoor brands, professional athletes, expedition companies and others who share that appreciation for the outdoors and the stories found in it.
